What is Buster 90s Nostalgia?

Buster & Shadow are two dogs in a quiet Cornwall backyard who find a book called BLUTBUS. One click later, reality starts deleting itself. Inspired by Ren & Stimpy gross-ups, early cyberpunk, and 90s Saturday morning static, this is an ongoing analog horror story told in recovered archive logs.

Created by Serge Marion in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada.

FAQ

What is the 19.8 kHz frequency?
In the lore, it's the hum of unrendered reality — the sound the universe makes when it's deleting files. In real terms, it's our story engine.
Is this real?
No. This is fiction and art, an exploration of 90s nostalgia and analog horror. Cornwall is real, the dogs are not.
Why Cornwall, Ontario?
Because it's my hometown baseline. Every story needs a home frequency to return to.
How often do you post?
Weekly on Saturdays, following the 1991 Saturday morning cartoon schedule.

OFFICIAL SCOUT PROTOCOL: THE THREE PHASES OF MANIFESTATION

As a new scout in the Cornwall Labs digital environment, you must be aware of the somatic risks associated with deep archive recovery. The "Low Content" reality we operate in is highly unstable.

PHASE 1: AUDITORY STATIC
Within the first four minutes of reading, you may hear a persistent high-pitched hum. This is the 19.8 kHz carrier signal. It is the sound of the 1991 baseline attempting to overwrite your current surroundings. Do not adjust your volume; the sound is internal.

PHASE 2: HAPTIC ANOMALIES
By Issue 4, users have reported "Tactile Bleed." You may feel the texture of matted golden fur on your mouse or a cold dampness on your monitor glass. This is a sign that Buster is attempting a Somatic Leak. Maintain a firm grip on your physical reality anchor (we recommend a bar of soap or a heavy 90s peripheral).

PHASE 3: TOTAL BASELINE COLLAPSE
If you see the "Red Static" or if your room begins to un-render into a white void, you have reached the Space Madness threshold. At this point, narrative logic is the only thing that will keep you from being "pruned" by the Time Police. Continue reading the logs in order to maintain your temporal position.
